General information and How to arrive Hostal Empuries

This hostel is located in an idyllic spot directly beside the ruins, and close to the Mediterranean Sea. It enjoys over 2500 years of history. The centre of L'Escala with its restaurants, bars, links to public transport and shopping opportunities is only about 500 m away. The nearest train station is 25 km away in Flaça. Dalí-Figueres Museum is approximately 28 km away. Girona-Costa Brava is about 57 km away.

On the AP7 motorway, take exit 5. Take the GI-623 road in the direction of l'Escala-Empúries. At the first roundabout in l'Escala, take the GI-630 road and follow the sign to Ruines d'Empúries. Upon seeing the entrance to the ruins, turn right following the sign Playa-Hotel.
