Built in 2002, this bright and modern hotel has 334 double rooms on 4 floors with a full range of facilities to offer its guests. 24 h reception service with currency exchange. Large sun terrace and gardens with 2 large pools for adults children (one of which converts to an indoor pool in winter,). Enjoy a drink in the cafe-bar or at the Irish pub. Other facilities with a supplement include car park and garage, hairdressing salon in the sister hotel nearby, newspaper kiosk and gift shop. The hotel is airconditioned throughout. The restaurant has a full buffet service and there is an A la carte Italian restaurant (check with hotel for dates that it is open) Highchairs are available upon request.For the younger members for added entertainment there is an amusement arcade and mini club in high season. For meetings and events hotel has conference rooms and lounges. Internet access is available in reception (supp).

General information and How to arrive Hotel Marina Playa

This attractive hotel has an unbeatable seafront location situated in the resort of Mojacar, across the road from the nearest sandy beach and just 50m from the Marina Golf course. Approximately 1.5 km away lies the village of Garrucha which offers numerous shopping options and typical fish restaurants. A bus service runs to the village of Mojacar, perched on a hilltop.

On leaving the Almeria airport, head for the A7-E15 motorway, in the direction of Murcia. Continue for about 35 minutes until your each exit no. 520 Los Gallardos/Garrucha/Mojacar. Bypass Gallardos and head for Garrucha. Just as you reach Garrucha turn off to the right towards the beach and then once by the beach turn right again towards Mojacar. Continue for about 1,5 km until you see the sign to turn right to the hotels. (near the golf course) |

There are various leisure facilities - 2 large pools with childrens pools(one of the pools converts to an indoor pool in winter). In high season hotel offers scuba diving lessons for all levels in the pool and open water dives (supplement), there are sunbeds,parasols water activities such as water aerobics. The hotel has a wellness centre (supp.) with Jacuzzi, a sauna, turkish baths and various beauty and massage treaments. Tennis an paddle courts available for an additional fee, as well as table tennis, aerobics, a gym, pool table. There are three 18 hole golf courses one next to the hotel and the others within 15 min drive. Hotel can offer discounts for the golf courses. Dependent on the season, the hotel organises an entertainment programme, open to all guests. The children can have fun joining the mini club in high season summer.
