Shopping facilities, restaurants, nightclubs, bars and pubs area situated within the neighbourhood. The centre of the pretty village of Roses is around 2 km away (roughly 15 minutes). Links to the public transport network can easily be reached on foot, located around 3 km from the hotel. Excursions to nearby sightseeing attractions can be reached by the train from Figueres, which lies around 20 km from the hotel. The nearest airport, Gerona, is roughly 75 km away and Barcelona airport is around 170 km away.

Evaluation: Hotel Montecarlo

El hotel en general bien, pasable para unos días, aunque en algunos aspectos dejaba mucho que desear, especialmente en la higiene y la comida la habitación casi no la limpiaban, incluso un día teníamos una cucaracha en el suelo de la habitación. El servicio de buffet era deficiente, una de las camareras se puede decir que no servía para el trato con el cliente y la comida bastante mala. La parte buena eran las vistas, al estar en primera línea. Cabe destacar la atención no sé si por parte del hotel o de la agencia, ya que pedimos habitación frente al mar y nos la concedieron. En general, hemos estado en otros hoteles de 3 estrellas y eran mucho mejores, tenían aire acondicionado y nevera en la habitación, especialmente los de playa, así que la relación calidad precio creo que no es correcta.
