The hotel was built in 1962 and refurbished in 1995. It consists of a total of 133 rooms on 2 floors of which 18 are singles, 103 are doubles and 12 are suites. Guests are offered a large pool and garden area, a stylish lobby, and a reception, which is open 24-hours a day. In addition there is a TV room, a café, a cosy bar and an air-conditioned, non-smoking restaurant. This hotel is located directly in Punta Prima's tourist centre and is just 50 m from the fine sandy bay. An abundance of shops and entertainment venues are located in the immediate vicinity. Moreover, Mahón and the like-named airport are to be found a mere 9 km away and easily reached on bus. There is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel.

There is a local bus both from the airport and from Mahon Harbour.

**** Estancia de 6 noches en el Hotel Xaloc Playa *** en Punta Prima, Menorca. Situado en lugar tranquilo, frente a una preciosa playa. Habitaciones amplias y limpias, personal muy agradable, comida muy buena y variada. Hemos recibido un trato excelente por parte de todo el personal recepción, restaurante, bar.
