Melia Las Dunas All Inclusive is located in Villa Clara, Cayo Santa Maria. This hotel lies on Santa Maria cay, a sand island belonging to the Jardines del Rey archipelago. The area in which the hotel is set is linked by a dam to the mainland, the 48 km long PEDRAPLAN. The dam gives access from the islands of Coco and Guillermo. A long, white sandy beach, clear turquoise blue waters, wild, green vegetation and a variety of plant life make this region one of the most exotic in the Caribbean! The centre of this hotel, opened in 2006, is full of life... the spacious, colourful lobby offers plenty of space, water features and a row of Palapas, culminating in a main square. Furthermore, a wedding pavilion, restaurants, ice-cream parlour, shops, a hairdresser and a beer garden feature within this complex. Facilities on offer include a foyer with a reception desk manned around the clock, a hotel safe and a currency exchange facility.
