This family-friendly city hotel is located around 6 km south east of Charing Cross. The hotel's metropolitan suburb has a long history of its own. In 1700 it was a rural village of just 600 people, centred on the junctions of the High Street, Hill Street, and Rye Lane. Nowadays guests will find Peckham bus station a 5-minute walk away, an Peckham railway station as well as bars and nightlife spots around a 15-minute walk away. Peckham Park and Will Alsop's designed Peckham Library are also close by, as is Dulwich Gallery, which displays some of the forgotten sketches from the famous Peter Rabbit books by Beatrix Potter. The Oval cricket ground is less than 10 minutes away and a 20-minute ride on public transport will take guests to the centre of London. Nearby airports include London City (6 km), London Heathrow (32 km), London Gatwick (44 km), and London Luton and London Stansted (both 61 km).

From Heathrow Airport: take the blue Piccadilly underground line and get off at 'South Kensington' to change lines. Change to the green District line or the yellow Circle line and get off at the 'Victoria' stop. From there, take the train to Peckham Rye train station.
