This hotel was opened in 2002 and was certified as being of a High Quality Level by the Spanish Tourism Institute in 2004. This certificate was renewed in 2007 and the hotel facilities renovated, the finished hotel project is the Suites del Mar; which include 45 Junior Suites and 2 Presidential Suites in addition to 113 standard rooms and 19 Junior Suites. The hotel is composed of 2 different accommodation types sharing the following services: a cafeteria, panoramic terrace with spectacular views over the sea, free Internet access for all rooms, wifi in the hall. There is a cafeteria and terrace, a business centre, with free Internet access and Play Station area. Children can also enter the Ludic Park for free. Other facilities include a reception desk, foreign currency exchange facilities, free morning coffee, room service (local charge) and a laundry service (local charge). The hotel is ideally located between the Postiguet beach and the marina, next to the leisure area of Marina de Levante, the new promenada and newly opened casino. Also near to the maritime station, from where boats depart for Tabarca Island. It is also around 200 m from Alicante's tourist and shopping centre. In a few metres guests will find the tram station with a connection to several towns in the Costa Blanca area and theme parks, such as Terra Mítica, Terra Natura and Aqualandia. The distance to the nearest airport is 12 km.

The hotel offers a Spa Wellness Centre, an urban spa composed of an outdoor area (consult tariffs to see what is included) with outdoor swimming pool (covered in winter), solarium terrace with sea views, footbath, and an indoor hydrotherapy circuit with a thermal bath, Turkish bath, sauna, ice room and hydro-massage bath. A pesar de pedir habitación tranquila me colocaron en una habitación enfrente de una zona de ocio nocturno con música permanente de forma espantosa hasta la madrugada domingo y lunes!. Dormir solo posible con tapones!.

La estancia bien, pero por exceso de ocupación habilitaron una sala de reuniones como habitación que intenteron vendernos como suite por el precio de la habitación.

The hotel and its facilities were exellent and the staff were very helpful. The only problem we had is that we were in a Junior suite at the front of the hotel, and a disco pub played very very loud music from 12 am until 4am, so we did not get any sleep at all. To stay in an hotel of this standard, you would have expected the hotel management to have done something about this disco pub. For that reason we will only stay at this hotel if we have a room on the playa side of the hotel.
