Renovated in 1999, this first class hotel comprises a total of 279 rooms of which 242 are double rooms and 37 are suites. General information and How to arrive Hotel Melia Tamarindos

This luxury hotel is located in the tourist centre of San Augustin, approximately 100 m from the nearest beach. The town centre is just 500 m away; the shopping centre 1 km from the hotel. The airport is about 29 km away and there is a regular public bus service departing from a stop located close to the hotel.

On leaving the airport take the GC1 motorway towards South (Sur), take exit 37 "San Agustin - Bahia Feliz". Once you have passed under a bridge and on the crossroad take road GC-500 towards "Bahia Feliz". Take exit signposted as "San Agustin". Once you have reached the roundabout, turn on your left hand side and take the first street on your right. The hotel is 50mts from here on your left hand side. You will recognize the hotel as there is Casino sign on top of the roof|

Evaluation: Hotel Melia Tamarindos

La estancia en el hotel ha sido muy satisfactoria. Bien emplazado y a pesar de su antigüedad conserva las instalaciones que requería las cinco estrellas de su época. La media pensión ha sido excelente en su calidad y variación por lo que se puede recomendar a personas exigentes. El personal con la experiencia requerida y un trato muy agradable. Las actuaciones de ocio después de la cena han sido entretenidas. He solicitado los impresos para el informe de calidad del cliente y me han informado que Melia me los enviará a mi dirección de correo electrónico.
