General information and How to arrive Hotel Hesperia Lanzarote

This hotel is picturesquely located directly beside the sea, close to Puerto Calero's newly-built marina which may be reached via the promenade along whence a diversity of shopping and entertainment venues are to be found. Enjoying a location within a short distance of many of the island's top sights, this hotel is the ideal starting point for day trips. The nearest links to the transport network (bus stop) are 300 m away; it is approximately 5 km to Puerto del Carmen. It is 15 km from the airport to the hotel and the trip takes about 15 minutes.

If travelling by car from the airport, set off for the south (Yaiza or Playa Blanca). The petrol station in Macher must be left behind and after about 900 m there will be a roundabout with a flag and a signal indicating 3 km to the location. Turn left to Puerto Calero. Upon entering the residential area there will be another roundabout with a sailing boat. Go on and at the stop signal, opposite the hotel Iberostar, turn right and go straight on for about 200 m until the volcanic-stony wall indicating the way to the hotel. From this point, it will take about 3 minutes to arrive at the hotel. If guests prefer, a taxi may be taken from the airport, which costs approximately 15 euros.

Evaluation: Hotel Hesperia Lanzarote

Todo muy bien, exceptuando que para la cena era obligatorio que los hombres llevaran pantalones que les cubrieran los tobillos, mi marido y yo solo ibamos cuatro días y en epoca de mucho calor y no llevamos pantalones largos por lo que en el restaurante le prestaron unos dos tallas mayor y la verdad que se veía y sentía fatal lo curioso es que algunas mujeres iban en pantalon playero corto y con cholas plásticas y nadie decía nada, mientras que a nosotros nos tuvieron la primera noche más de media hora esperando y eso que mi marido llevaba unas bermudas vaqueras que le cubrian la rodilla y a mi modo de ver su vestimenta no era informal. Tampoco me gustó que tanto para cenar como para desayunar tuvieramos que esperar que alguien nos acompañara hasta una mesa creandose situaciones normalmente en la cena en las que a pesar de haber muchas mesas libres no podíamos entrar al restaurante sino que teníamos que esperar hasta quince minutos para que nos acompañaran a la mesa, creo que un hotel de cinco estrellas no debe hacer esperar a sus clientes quince minutos habiendo tantas mesas libres.
