Hostal Norat Sanxenxo     

This guesthouse is situated near Sanxenxo town hall, in the heart of the municipality and is just a few minutes' walk from the famous beaches of Silgar (Sanxenxo) and Baltar (Portonovo). The establishment can be found in the residential area of Baltar, opposite a sport and leisure complex. It is the perfect place to forget about the car and enjoy some much needed rest in a peaceful area, offering plenty of wonderful walks. The centre of Portonovo with its links to the public transport network is just 100 m away and guests will find bars and pubs, night clubs and a park within 5 minutes' walk of the property. Vigo Airport is approximately 62 km from the hostel.

If you come by plane until the airport of Vigo (Peinador); take the motorway direction Pontevedra (AP-9), once you've pass the Pontevedra bridge direction Santiago de Compostela you'll find one sign which writes Sansenxo with green backround (fast route VRG-4.1), take that exit until you'll arrive at the deviation which says Sansenxo, immediately you'll find a roundabout with a Supermarket called Champion on the left and 2 petrol stations one on each side of the road,you must continue straight on passing the 2 petrol stations, 200 metros further you'll find another roundabout , you must turn to the right leaving the bus station behind you which is in mentioned roundabout on left side, after 250 metres further you'll find the last roundabout of our trip, in which you must by obligation yield, in this last roundabout in which you only have the option to go straight. On the left you'll see the town of Portonovo behind the beach,once you by obligation yield you'll be led to the road turning on the right, going up a small hill of 3 metres and again on the right at 100 metres ahead is the hostal in front of a park with high pine trees.

Another way of arriving; after the last roundabout is to take the 1st road to the right (leaving behing the medical center), go to the second on the right (Actually its the 1st because the last is an ambulance entrance) and then first to the left .Have a good trip!.

If you come from the airport of Santiago de Compostela (Lavacolla) its exactly the same, direction Pontevedra (AP-9) until you find at 15 km before arriving at the metioned city a sign with green background VRG-4.1 which writes Sanxenxo.

If you come by the AUTOROUTE AP-9 (MADRID-BENAVENTE-OURENSE-VIGO-PONTEVEDRA-O GROVE), its the same; take the autoroute until you'll find an indication with green background which writes Sansenxo and continue the way previously explained.

If you come out from the autoroute AP-9 in Pontevedra at the roadmark 550 its the same, totally straight by the coast road direction Portonovo.

By train: The railway stations of RENFE more close are the ones of Pontevedra (18 km.) and Villagarcía (28 km.) with various daily connections from La Coruña and Santiago (direction Vigo) and from Vigo and Redondela (direction to La Coruña); in Pontevedra (19:59 h.) and Santiago (20:43 h.) there is a connection with the Express Train "Hotel Rías Gallegas" Madrid.

The local service to Sanxenxo from Pontevedra (18 km.) and Villagarcía (28 km.) is carried out every hour between 7:30 h. and 22:00 h. in winter, until 5:00 h. in summer.The principal regular bus connections national as international (France,Belgium,Holland...) have conections to the major cities of Galicia.
