Solar De Caceres is located in Fornos De Algodres, Centro de Portugal. The Hotel was renovated in 2013. The link of the two Solar Cáceres and its adjacent Chapel of Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación was established in 1481 by Luiz de Cáceres. In 1755, the owner of this link was Aires de Sa e Melo, who was hidalgo of the Royal household, counselor, Minister, Ambassador and Secretary of State. The link included more than 200 properties. Later, Doña María Inês de Sá professed at the convent of Jesus and dropped the link in favour of his cousin Luis Albuquerque de Melo Pereira e Caceres, of the House of the Insua, also hidalgo of the Royal household and who later became Governor and captain general of Mato Grosso and Cuiaba, in Brazil. Recently, in 2013, the Solar was rebuilt preserving all its structure and rustic architecture but with exquisite and modern décor, turning it into a magnificent example of tourism in rural space.
