Cuilfail is located in Kilmelford, Oban. Found 'sandwiched' between the rolling Highlands and the shores of Loch Melfort - located conveniently on the A816, 15 miles, a 15 minute drive south of Oban in the little village hamlet of Kilmelford, in the western Highlands. Housed in a building that dates back to 1840, this rustic 3-storey hotel comprises a total of 12 rooms. Facilities include a reception desk, a bar and a games room in addition to an à la carte restaurant with a non-smoking area and highchairs for infants. Those arriving by car may make use of the parking facilities. The tastefully decorated rooms each come with an en suite bathroom. All rooms have an individual character with good views of the surrounding countryside. It is possible to play billiards/ snooker and guests may go sailing, horseback riding, canoeing or cycling in the near surrounds. There is also a golf course to be found close by. We are easily found on the side of the main road from Oban to Lochgilphead in the quiet village of Kilmelford.
