Montado & Golf Resort is located in Palmela, Costa Azul. The resort is located on Portugal's Costa Azul, in Algeruz (Palmela), near Palmela Castle. It is just 30 minutes south of Lisbon. Those seeking beach or leisure holidays will find beautiful beaches just 20 minutes away by car. Surrounded by the vineyards that produce the famous wines of Palmela/Setúbal, the property has been developed in harmony with its surroundings of cork trees, streams and lakes, giving it a sense of magical, natural beauty. The golf course has been carefully embedded into this wonderful landscape, offering guests a break from the routine of daily life. Built in 2009, this air-conditioned establishment comprises a total of 93 accommodation units. Facilities on offer include a lobby with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a TV lounge, a café, a bar and a restaurant. Conference facilities are available, as well as WLAN Internet access, room and laundry services and parking for those arriving by car. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, WLAN Internet access, satellite TV and pay TV, as well as a telephone with exterior line, a hairdryer, a minibar, a safe and a private bathroom with a shower. A radio, a kitchenette, tea and coffee making facilities and a balcony or terrace also come as standard. This resort is the only one in this region with a golf course (18 holes, charges apply). It also has a heated outdoor swimming pool. For an additional fee guests can also play mini golf. Breakfast is served in the form of a buffet. The resort is located in Algeruz, Palmela. On arriving in Setúbal turn right towards Alcácer do Sal. Drive 13.5 km ahead and then turn left at the sign for Golfe do Montado. After 1.5 km the resort will come into view on the right-hand side.
