There is no air conditioning, and some rooms have a balcony. There is no lift, but there are rooms on the ground floor (subject to request). The shape and layout of the building mean that each bedroom has its own characteristics. On the lower floor, there is a small restaurant and a bar. The Sanabria region has magnificent natural surroundings, with the Lake Sanabria Natural Park as its central feature. It is the only one on the Iberian Peninsula of glacial origin. Gastronomy is another very important attraction for visitors. It blends Castilian, Galician and Portuguese influences. Broad beans, octopus, trout, game meats, cod, sisios, mushrooms, empanadas, broths, Sanabria bread, cured pork products, cheeses, walnuts, apples and, of course, wine are some of its many delicacies.
