The hotel is just a short walk from the city centre, where guests can find the Icelandic opera, the national theatre and the culture house, as well as many galleries, museums, clubs and cafés. The hotel operates both as a boutique hotel with luxurious accommodation and as a budget-conscious hotel with affordable rooms. The hotel offers various facilities, including a lobby area with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, lift access and currency exchange facilities. There are private, on-site conference facilities with audiovisual equipment. The conference rooms are also suitable for parties. Further facilities include a shop, a café and a bar called Studio 29.
