Cristal Ballena is located in Bahia Ballena, Costa Pacífico Sur. This hotel is located on a hill between the sea and the rainforest-covered mountains and affords a dreamlike view of the sea and the outlaying rocky islands. The beach hotel lies in front of the entrance to Playa Ballena directly next to Ballena Marine National Park. With the new Costanera Sur motorway, Dominical is 25 km south of the hotel and Uvita is 7 km from the hotel. The tourist centre and the wonderful sandy beach are a 10-minute drive away, whilst the centre is 10 minutes away by car. Opened in 2005, this comfortable and air-conditioned hotel comprises 18 rooms spread over 2 floors, of which 3 are elegant suites. Guests may make use of the spacious foyer with a reception desk, hotel safe and the 12-hectare garden. Facilities of the hotel include a bar and a restaurant, where every culinary delight may be enjoyed. Business guests are offered a room for conferences, conventions and meetings. In addition, an in-house laundry service is also available. Those arriving by car are able to make use of the car park. The modern rooms come with a bathroom with hairdryer, as well as a direct dial telephone, a minibar, coffee maker, satellite/cable TV, a double or king-size bed, a seating area, fan, safe, individually regulated air conditioning and a balcony or terrace. From San José, drive through the new Del Sol Highway until you get to the Tarcoles intersection, continue on the Coastway driving through the communities of Jaco, Quepos, Dominical and Uvita, once in Uvita drive 7 kms South until you find the 169 km landmark, then turn to the left and you will find the entrance to the Hotel.
