The hotel is located in a prestigious area of the island called Oyster Pond, which is on the east side of the island straddling the French/Dutch border. Restaurants, bars and nightlife can all be found in the vicinity. Shopping opportunities can be found in Philipsburg (about a 10-minute drive away). Simpson Bay is approximately 20 minutes away by car. This resort hotel was designed to integrate with nature. The hillside bungalows along the waterfront are nestled amidst tropical plants, natural rock outcroppings and winding paths. This is a small intimate hotel that focuses on friendly service and guest comfort. It has 40 rooms in total. It is air-conditioned and has a lobby, currency exchange facility, a café, newspaper stand, bar, pub, restaurant, conference facilities, Internet access in the lobby and room service. A laundry service is available for a fee. Parking facilities are available to guests arriving by car. The Standard Ocean View accommodation units have private terraces. Each room has a choice of a king-size bed or 2 twin beds and an optional rollaway bed. The spacious junior suites have private terraces or balconies offering spectacular views. The rooms have high ceilings, tiled floors and are simply decorated with white rattan and local art. An en suite bathroom, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, tea/coffee making facilities and a minibar all feature. Further amenities include an ironing set, individually regulated air conditioning and a safe deposit box. Rooms are non smoking.
